Melbourne’de yerel vaka sayısında yaşanan endişe verici artış sonrası bazı yeni kısıtlamalar açıklandı. Buna göre bu akşam (25 Mayıs 2021) saat 18:00’den itibaren geçerli olmak üzere Melbourne Büyükşehir sınırları içerisinde evlere ziyaretçi kabul sayısı 5 kişiye indirildi, kapalı alanlarda 12 yaş ve üzeri için maske takmak zorunlu hale geldi, halka açık toplanmalar en fazla 30 kişi ile sınırlandırıldı.
Melbourne Metropol sınırları içinden kırsal Victoria’ya seyahat etmeye engel olmamakla beraber giden kişiler Mebourne’de uygulanan kısıtlamalara tabi olacaklar. Örneğin Melbourne’den kırsala giden kişi şayet 12 yaş ve üzeriyse maske takması gerekecek.
İşyerleri ve okullar için herhangi bir kısıtlamaya gidilmediği için bu yerler açık kalmaya devam edecek.
Yeni kısıtlamalar 4 Haziran 2021 tarihine kadar yürürlükte olacak.
