Federal İnsani Hizmetler Bakanı Michael Keenan, personel sıkıntısı çekilen çağrı merkezi hizmeti için alınacak 1500 personelle yeni eklenen personel sayısının 2750’ye çıkacağını duyurdu.

Yeni personel, özel sektörden hizmet sağlayıcılarla yapılan sözleşmelerle istihdam edilecek.

Serco şirketi, Victoria’daki çağrı merkezlerine personel sağlarken; Stellar Asia Pacific, Concentrix Services ve DataCom Conenct şirketleri de Perth, Brisbane ve Adelaide’da personel çalıştıracak.

Bugün duyurulan 1500 personelden önce, Nisan ayında Avustralya merkezli özel şirketlerce istihdam edilen 1000 personel eklenmiş; öncesinde de 51,7 milyon dolarlık bütçeyle Serco’nun sağladığı 250 personelle 6 aylık deneme süreci gerçekleştirilmişti.
